Snow Ultimate Posted on April 3rd, 2008 by

Old Man winter just wouldn’t let up earlier in the week. In fact, on Monday morning Gusties woke up to a few inches of snow, flurries, and wind. Especially after returning from Spring Break, it can be easy to get disappointed about winter’s reluctance to go away. However, in true Gustavus Ultimate Frisbee form, a few brave soldiers ventured outside to take advantage of the weather and play some snow ultimate.

I certainly couldn’t resist the opportunity to play outside in the snow and the 10 or so of us that played had a great time. The game was full of snowy dives, slides, trips, and laughs.

While the Ultimate was thrilling, I am confident that most students at GAC are ready for a little nice weather. And maybe thats the reason that people are happy to live in Minnesota: the cold winters makes one cherish spring and summer.
