The first day of classes at Gustavus got off to a very very windy start, but that definitely didn’t hinder the excitement of starting classes and getting back into the swing of things – like waking up at 7:00am with the intent of going to class and being an engaged learner. Ok maybe not so much that, but being reunited with my friends makes it all worth while. Last night my friends and I stayed up a little later than we probably should have just talking and reminiscing about the summer and just how happy we all are to be back. It really is home for me and many other Gusties as well. I hope that all of the new first years will soon feel at home here on the hill, and of course prospective high school students looking for a potential place to one day call home should definitely check out Gustavus! It’s seriously a wonderful place to be and I couldn’t be happier to call it home :)
