J-term is in full swing as some of you may have guessed seeing how it’s January 11th. With classes that range from graphic design to Chinese films to Fact and Fiction the options to explore outside the “normal” required classes for a major is seemingly endless. Today in my Graphic design class my professor told us to think outside the box and really find out what motivates us in art. Ok, maybe now would be great for a little background, my current plan is to major in Athletic Training, go Pre-med and minor in Spanish, so an art class has absolutely nothing to do with anything in those fields. But that brings me back to the glory of J-term. My class has really helped me think of how art and logos are designed and how everything is truly in the eye of the beholder as well as the creator of the artwork. So to summarize keep your options open you never truly know what may come along and peak your interest!
