1. Health Insurance Waiver |
| All students are required to carry health insurance. Gustavus offers a comprehensive student health insurance plan, and all full-time students are automatically enrolled into the plan. To decline coverage, you must complete the online waiver verifying other health insurance coverage.

2. Immunizations |
| It is Minnesota law that your current MMR and Tetanus dates be on file in Health Service. There are other forms within the Health Portal that are beneficial to complete as well. Student athletes must also complete an NCAA health history form provided by the athletic department.

| Your Enrollment Checklist has everything you need to be ready for your first day on campus. You must be logged in to the Gustavus website with your username to access. |

Orientation Schedule |
| It’s happening! The New Student Orientation schedule is live. Take a look at what your first few days on campus will look like from August 30–September 2. Click here for a digital copy of the mailed orientation packet. |

Family Weekend |
| Save the date! Family Weekend is October 4-6. Enjoy tons of activities, athletic events, concerts, and a beautiful fall weekend on campus with your family. Check out the schedule! |
HOW TO GUSTIE
- PACKING LIST: Add a desk lamp to your list if you plan on studying in your room!
- GUSTIE LINGO: CinCC: noun, the nickname given to Christmas in Christ Chapel, an annual celebration of the holidays featuring multiple music ensembles, choirs, and the Gustavus Dance Company.
- UNSPOKEN RULE: In the spring, you’ll find Old Main hill packed with dressed up students. There isn’t an event, just an awesome photo op when the crabapple trees bloom and line the hill with pink flowers!
- CAF CREATION: Let’s talk about pasta. In the caf, you can customize your carbs at the pasta bar. Pick your preferred noodle shape and sauce (pro tip: lots of students mix the red and white sauce). You can always stop by the grill to add a protein on top! Gluten free pasta is available upon request.
- ACRONYM DEFINED: Big Partner Little Partner, a student organization that connects Gusties with local youth through a mentorship program, is often called BPLP.
AROUND RING ROAD
- LOCAL GEM: Just across the river in Saint Peter, you’ll find Minnesota Wing King, the destination in town for barbeque. The line out the door is well worth the wait!
- SECRET SPOT: Just past the football field, you’ll notice a house with a Gustavus flag flying in the front yard. This is the house that the President of the College lives in!
- INSTAGRAM: Gustavus staff are some of the best. Meet Ted Rosenback, the iconic Marketplace Supervisor that students love!
